Bunny Dressed as Santa

Yes, I'm back, two posts in two days!

So, totally forgot to fill you in on little Milo last week.  You'll be pleased to hear that he's absolutely fine and back at home.  He did have to spend a few days with the Vet and we're still not entirely sure what was wrong with him, although the Vet suspected secondary poisoning.  Well, he does eat everything in sight!  Milo that is, not the Vet.

Anyway, on with the show.  I have another Christmas card to share with you today and another Mo Manning image from Stamping Bella.  This time it's "Bunny With A Gift".  I just love this little fella, he was one of the first stamps I bought of Mo Manning's.

He's been coloured with copics on the X-Press It blending card.  Plenty of crystal art glitter on his hat.  The papers are from Basic Grey Jovial paper pad.  The ribbon is from my stash.  Another simple, postable Christmas card.  (I really ought to get in the habit of adding sentiments though).

I have worked out how to crop my pictures now, but this one looked weird cropped, so I just left it.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

I've been making stuff!

Hello blogging buddies, how you doing?  All good I hope.

I've got a couple of little projects to share with you today.

The first is a new pin cushion.  I was organising my new sewing station and managed to break the little mannequin pin cushion I had, so I had to make a new one.  Now, I was going to break out the baked beans and make a simple one out of the tin and then I spotted this sitting on my table.  I originally bought it to go in my bedroom, as obviously it's a jewellery stand, but I didn't like it there so stuck it in the craft room to hang little bits and bobs on.  Then inspiration struck, and this is what I made...

I found a pretty piece of fabric, stuffed it with toy stuffing and hey presto!  Love how this turned out.

And here's a picture of my little sewing station...

And the phone works!

The other little things I've made are some coasters for the bedroom.  I've been looking everywhere for  something that would go and couldn't find a thing, then I remembered that I'm a crafter! (kind of).   So I grabbed a couple of our old coasters, picked out a pretty piece of Pion paper, glued it on, let it dry, trimmed it off, gave it a coat of PVA glue and then a coat of lacquer and Bob's your Uncle.  new coasters for those Sunday morning cuppas in bed.

Here's the before...

And here's the after...

Both super simple little projects, but I really enjoyed making them and am pretty pleased with how they turned out.

Hope you enjoyed your visit today.  See you soon.

Veronica's Christmas Party

Hello all, hope you're all well.

I'm back.  At last.  It seems that the first half of this year has been ridiculously busy, but hopefully things are now settling down and I can finally get around to some crafting.

Today I have a Christmas card to show you.  A friend of mine gave me a pack of some new colouring card to try out and I am very impressed.  The whole reason this turned into a Christmas card is that I really wanted to put this card through its paces so used reds to colour.  Absolutely no bleeding anywhere.  It's called Copic X-Press It Ultra Smooth Blending Card and you can get it from sirstampalot.co.uk.  It's brilliant.  Now my colouring is a little shaky as I'm out of practice, but this blending card is fabulous and I highly recommend it.

Anyhoo, onto my card.  The stamp is from Stamping Bella and is called Veronica by Mo Manning.  She's been coloured with copics on the X-Press It card.  The backing papers are really old and I'm not sure where they are from.  I added a Cheery Lynn Holly Flourish die cut and some red seam binding.  That's it.  Nice and simple and postable!!

Sorry about the picture.  We have a new camera (as my husband left our old one up a mountain!) and I've also had to load it onto my husband's computer and haven't yet worked out how to crop it.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:

Candy winner

Hello everyone, hope you are all well.

We had a wonderful holiday, but it is lovely to be home, even if things have been a very hectic.  We got home on Thursday, had our new carpets laid on Saturday morning and then had to dash Milo off to the vets on Sunday morning.  We still don't know what's wrong with him, the vet has given him a couple of antibiotic shots and he is acting a little perkier, he went back this morning for another two jabs and has to go back again tomorrow.  I'll keep you updated on his progress.

Now down to business.  The winner of my little candy is...

No. 8 - Di from Pixies Craft Workshop.

Congratulations.  Please email me at cwillis323@gmail.com with your snail mail address and I'll get your goodies in the post to you.

Have a great week everyone.  I hope to be back with something to show you next week.

Big hugs

A Little Candy

Morning all, hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  I spent yesterday with my SIL at the Sincerely Yours craft show at Biggin Hill.  We had a wonderful day watching demos and buying stash.

Now, for my candy.  Long overdue, for which I really must apologise, but life has been just a little hectic since the beginning of the year.  It was my first anniversary in blogland in January and to celebrate I have a little candy for you.  This candy is for my current followers only as a thank you for all your support and kind comments over the last year (and a ½!!).

The candy consists of:

2 packs of Neenah Super-Smooth white stamping card
2 packs of Prima Miss Godiva flowers
1 pack of Kaisercraft Magnolia Grove Stamps
1 pack of Kaisercraft Lakehouse Stamps
1 pack of Kaisercraft Magnolia Grove Rub-ons
1 pack of Kaisercraft Lakehouse Rub-ons
1 Joy Crafts corner die 6002/0135
1 pack of Prima Fairy Rhymes 6 x 6 paper pad.

There is only one rule for this candy.  Please leave a comment on this post.  That's it.  There is no need to post a picture on your blog, but if you want to that's fine.

I won't be around next week, as we're off on our hols.  So this candy will run for two weeks.  I will pick the winner from the comments on Monday 3 June.

Thank you all for all your support and kind comments since I started blogging.

Big hugs

Rose Red

Hey everyone, how you doing?  Hope you all had a lovely weekend.  Hubby and I went to Tenterden on Saturday and spent a lovely afternoon wandering around the shops and having a cream tea.  Then yesterday my daughter and I had a lovely pub lunch with my friend Amanda, all in all a wonderful relaxing weekend.

My card today is for my cousin Lorraine, who's birthday is next month.  I've used Saturated Canary's 'Rose Red', she's been coloured with copics.  The paper is from Kaisercraft 'Magnolia Grove'.  I used my new Martha Stewart's 'Crochet Flower' punch around the page.  The flowers are all from Wild Orchid and I used Martha Stewart's branch punch, both of which I've had for an age.  The image was cut out using Spellbinders Oval and Floral Oval dies.

Bubbles Loves Bubbly

Hello all.  Hope you all had a great weekend and enjoying this gorgeous weather.

First of all I'd like to say hello to my newest follower, Jenee.  Thank you for choosing to follow my little blog.

Well, hubby's home from his travels.  I really missed him.  After a whole week of a nice clean and tidy house, I now have laundry everywhere (I certainly didn't miss that!!)

Anyhoo, today's card is a commission for a friend.  She specifically asked that it should be "bubbly" like her friend.  I think I might have taken her request a bit literally, but she loved it.

I've used Stamping Bella's "Bubbles Loves Bubbly".  She's been coloured with copics, a little diamond stickles and some Viva Decor pearl dots.  The papers are from Maja Design Vintage Spring Basics, my absolute favourite at the moment.  The flowers are Prima Miss Godiva (centre) from My Crafty Heart and the two other little flowers are from Wild Orchid.  I used Spellbinders Oval and Floral Oval dies.  The lace and crystal is from Prima 'Say it with Pearls'.

I'd like to enter this card in the following challenges:
